Research
Academic staff and students are involved in basic and applied research in most areas of electrical engineering.
Research activities at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication are funded from national grant projects (Czech Science Foundation, grants from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and others), from research programmes and centres. Particular attention is paid to projects for the 7th Framework Programme and Operational Programmes under EU Structural Funds. Work is underway on Faculty projects, and partnership for joint projects is offered.
The staff are involved in applied research for industrial partners on the basis of contracts, and within the framework of diploma theses and dissertations.
